Suzy Anger (English) works on the relations between Victorian literature and nineteenth-century science, particularly scientific psychology. Her current research project examines Victorian fiction and nineteenth-century theories of consciousness. Recent graduate teaching has included courses on Victorian Literature and Technology, Victorian Literature and Science/Psuedo-Science, and Victorian Literature and Nineteenth-Century Psychology. She has supervised graduate work on topics such as literature and nineteenth-century psychology, astronomy, and heredity theory.
