Instructor: Kirsty Johnson
Section: 001

Term: 2
Meets: Tues 1:00-3:00pm

In this course we examine representations of illness and disability in theatre and film. Drawing from an interdisciplinary literature across the humanities, we explore a range of theoretical and conceptual problems that attend investigations into the health-illness continuum in theatre, film and other cultural histories. We also analyze a selection of plays and films in order to ground our theoretical investigations.
